Gaddafi Pays Italian Models To Attend Islam Speech
So, while in Rome to celebrate the anniversary of the treaty, he hired a modeling agency to pay for some few hundred or so young Italian lovelies to attend an Islam recruiting session on Sunday. No-one was willing to admit exactly how much they’d been paid to attend, other than they’d been given a small stipend.

A New Tupac Shakur Biopic Is In The Works
Oscar-nominated screenwriters Stephen J. Rivele and Chris Wilkinson (Ali, Nixon) have just been hired to write the
Tupac Shakur biopic, which means the Antoine Fuqua-directed film could begin shooting by mid-November. (No cast yet; Fuqua is looking for an unknown to play the late rapper.) While the writing partners are known for adapting true lives and stories — they also worked on the Moneyball script, and an upcoming Jackie Robinson story — Wilkinson tells Vulture that the key to this script is an approach that “is not in any way biopic-y.”Rivele admits that “I knew nothing about [Shakur]” before diving into research, but upon immersing himself in just about everything ever written about the rapper, “it became clear that he was essentially a 19th century Romantic poet who found himself in the 21st century.”

Garnett Silk (born Garnet Damoin Smith, April 2, 1966, Manchester, Jamaica, died December 9, 1994, Mandeville, Jamaica) was a Jamaican reggae musician and Rastafarian, known for his emotive, powerful and smooth voice. During the early 1990s he was hailed as a rising talent, but his career was ended by his early death in 1994, while attempting to save his mother while his house was on fire.

Wyclef is shook
Singer Wyclef Jean says he is in "hiding" after receiving death threats since announcing his plans to run for president of Haiti.
Jean told The Associated Press he had received a series of warnings, including a phone call telling him to "get out of Haiti".
The singer's plans have stirred controversy in the Caribbean country with his ex-bandmate Pras Michel and actor Sean Penn among those criticising his bid.
Haiti's electoral commission has also postponed its ruling on who will be allowed to run for president until 20 August. FULL STORY

Albanian separatists plan to attack Kosovo Serbs
The so-called interior minister of the Albanian separatists in Kosovo has warned that an attack against Serbs in the town of Kosovska Mitrovica are planned for the near future.
Ethnic Albanian separatist Bajram Rexhepi warned on Friday that Albanian gunmen which he termed “security forces” would carry out “security operations” in areas where Serbs live because ethnic Serbs do not recognize the illegal separatist ethnic Albanian government.
In an address on an ethnic Albanian radio station in Pristina, Rexhepi said that the separatist government of Hashim Thaci has a plan for the attack in order to “punish those accountable” that do not recognize his illegitimate government as legitimate. FULL STORY

Filip Filipi (24), reper i muzički producent iz Kanade koji je poslednjih dana aktuelan zbog pesme koju je snimio sa srpskom teniserkom Anom Ivanović...
...unuk je Sime Dubajića, Titovog majora iz Drugog svetskog rata i jednog od pokretača srpske pobune u Kninskoj krajini za vreme režima Franje Tuđmana.
KORENI - Filipi je rođen u Beogradu, ali je detinjstvo proveo u ličkom mestu Korenica, odakle se, kad je počeo rat u Hrvatskoj, iselio u Kanadu. Muzičku karijeru je počeo pošto je zbog povrede morao da prestane da se bavi košarkom.
- I dan danas pratim srpski sport. Dan kada smo pobedili Nemačku na Svetskom prvenstvu bio je jedan od najlepših u mom životu - kaže za „24 sata” Filipi, koji je po očevoj liniji poreklom iz Dalmacije i delom sa Sicilije (odatle Filipi).
Kanadski hip-hoper za sebe kaže da je srpski patriota i da mu je drago što je deda Simo Dubajić umro pre nekoliko goidna, a da ga nisu izručili Hrvatskoj, gde je bio optuživan za zločine.
- Sreo sam ga nekoliko puta dok sam bio mali, ali se dobro sećam njegovih dugačkih belih brkova. Moja baba, njegova sestra, mi je pričala priče o njemu za vreme rata. Nikad nisam imao problema zbog toga što smo u srodstvu, podržavam to što je uradio u ratu i ako me to košta da izgubim ustaške fanove, onda neka bude tako - kaže Filipi.
On planira za 2010. da izda dva albuma – Design & Origin Of Stars i Vavilon – od kojih će drugi biti na srpskom jeziku i na njemu će se nalaziti i pesma koju je snimio s Anom Ivanović, a iza sebe ima i duet s Nevenom Subotićem, fudbalskim reprezentativcem Srbije.
- Ana je odradila fenomenalan posao. Njen engleski akcenat je vrlo seksi - kaže Filip, koji planira da na jesen dođe u Beograd.
Filipi je 2005. godine osnovao i izdavačku kuću „1389”, a već je dosad sarađivao sa brojnim priznatim muzičarima sa američke hip-hop scene.

The hardest part for Stojkovic was to convince people that, actually, he is the victim. He was jailed for two months following his wife’s accusations, and when he was released he was ordered to stay away from his own home.

Weirdest rape charge ever
An Arab man convicted in Israel of rape because he pretended he was a Jew has had his prison sentence delayed.
Sabbar Kashur, 30, was found guilty of "rape by deception" when he had consensual sex with an Israeli woman, and sentenced to 18 months in jail.
He has appealed against the sentence, and it has now been delayed, pending a high court decision.
Kashur is being held under house arrest, but the conditions have now been eased. FULL STORY
